Shopping

There are no shops in Naracoopa. You will need to buy your supplies while you are in Currie.

IGA for groceries, some island products and alcohol.

Foodworks for groceries and some island products. Order your food supplies online (https://kingisland.myfoodworks.com.au/) and they will be delivered to your cottage. If delivery is prior to your arrival let us know so we can collect and store perishable items in the refrigerator.

King Island Butchers for real King Island beef, lamb etc and some smallgoods.

King Island Bakery for pies, sandwiches and fresh breads.

Driving

Please watch out for our many wallabies as you drive, especially early morning and late afternoon. We would hate you to encounter our wildlife too closely.

Communications

The ONLY mobile phone network on the island is Telstra Next G. For phone access make sure you have a suitable phone with a SIM from a carrier that uses this network. The quality of coverage varies depending on the location.
To help provide a good signal with usable data speeds during your stay the cottages are fitted with a smart repeater system.
